2. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. It applies to visitors of ionera.gr. It does not cover data you give us outside the website, for example during a project engagement, which is governed by our agreement with you.
3. Data we collect
3.1 Contact form
When you use the contact form on our website, we collect the information you enter: your name, your email address, the subject of your message (optional) and the content of your message. This information is sent to us by email so that we can answer your enquiry.
Legal basis: your consent, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services (Article 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providing this data is voluntary, but without it we cannot reply to you.
3.2 Server and technical data
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you request and the date and time of the request. These records are used to keep the site secure, available and working correctly.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security and proper operation of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3.3 Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. This website uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function, including cookies set by WordPress and by our caching and performance tools. These do not require your consent.
If we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies, they will be set only after you give consent through the cookie banner, and you will be able to withdraw that consent at any time. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then not work as intended.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, and only to the extent necessary:
- Hosting provider – our website and email are hosted by Hostinger, which stores the site files, database and server logs.
- Email provider – enquiries submitted through the contact form are delivered to and stored in our email account.
- Professional advisers and partners – where a project requires a specialised study, and only with your knowledge.
We may also disclose data where we are required to do so by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5. International transfers
Our providers may process data on servers inside the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, the transfer is made on the basis of an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep your data
Enquiries sent through the contact form are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and, where it leads to a working relationship, for the duration of that relationship plus any period required by Greek tax and professional record-keeping rules. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider. Data that is no longer needed is deleted.
7. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 you have the right to:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to erase your data, where there is no continuing reason for us to keep it;
- ask us to restrict how we process your data;
- object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at mantneof@gmail.com. We will respond within one month.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Αρχή Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα), Kifissias 1-3, 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr.
